Pelvic Health is for everyone.

Pelvic health means normal bladder & bowel function.

Pelvic health means a painless & pleasurable sex life.

Pelvic health means a painless start to periods and an ease into menopause.

Time is something that not many providers have these days with patients. We prioritize time. Our first visit with you is 75 minutes - we get to know your history, your story and begin unraveling why you are now symptomatic and how you can be successful with our care. We have time to thoroughly explain what the pelvic floor is, examine what is happening with your pelvic floor and why. We work together with you, not just "on you." We teach you how your body works, what you should be feeling with exercise, why we are prescribing a certain treatment or plan, and more importantly - Is it working? Is it making you improve? Does it work for your lifestyle? If it's not, we shift. We want your therapy to complement your life, not complicate it.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with her, and I was blown away by her knowledge of the intricate workings of the human body. Within the first session with her, she was able to give me the tools to relieve my pain through exercises and self-massage. By the end of my pregnancy I felt better than I had for months!

There are no words to do justice in conveying the deep gratitude I have in my heart for Gretchen and her healing space at Break free pelvic health and wellness. The truth is there is NO place in South Carolina that I have found anyone who understands Endometriosis and how much this disease negatively impacts your life.

Dr. Brooker was an absolute joy to have as a pelvic floor physical therapist. Pelvic floor PT was not something I had experienced before, and she calmed all of my nerves, educated me more on my body than anyone has before, and has such a calming presence. She made me feel heard, cared for, and safe each time I met with her. I would recommend her to anyone experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction.
